Anyway, we kind of understand that we would of had to pay for the seat as we broke it but what came next was a shock. I work in an industry that provides the raw materials to make plastics and I can tell you that plastics become brittle with heat. 1st day, opening the toilet seat the back hinge snapped due to wear over time. Got to the resort and everything goes smoothly with checkin and bike rental, staff very friendly and helpful. you can do Pattaya to Bangkok, 120+km, airport for that, its either you take the taxi or walk the distance with heavy bags in the heat. The taxi cost 200b a person for a 5minute drive and it was not private so other people crammed in the taxi, 5 people=1000b for a 5minute or 2km ride?. Paradisus Princesa Del Mar Resort & SpaĪsked if transportation from the pier to the hotel was offered, was told it was not available and to use a taxi.Es lohnt sich unbedingt für diesen Preis bekommt ihr auf Koh Tao nichts besseres. Das Bett ist etwas härter aber das ist Geschmacksache. Die Villa ist sehr groß mit einem Esszimmer mit mirkowelle Wasserkocher etc. Garnicht schlimm es ist alles da geblieben. Die Villa wird alle 2 Tage gereinigt und die Handtücher gewechselt, wir haben unsere Wertsachen vergessen zu verschließen.

Wir haben gefragt ob wir ein Roller mieten können, dieser wurde sofort von dem Besitzer selbst ausgliehen ( neusten Modelle ) und wir zahlen nur 180 baht pro Tag, günstiger hab ich es noch nirgends bekommen. Beim einchecken wurden uns direkt die Tasche hoch getragen, freundlich begrüßt und ein Glass Wasser eingeschenkt. Es lohnt sich für die Villa und die Ruhe und Aussicht. Ohne Roller wird es schon viel zu laufen aber der kostet hier kaum etwas. Man fährt ein Berg aus der Stadt hoch und ist da. Zu der Villa, Sie ist super neu und modern, sehr sauber und mit dem Roller eine super Lage.
Wir zahlen 40€ pro Nacht für die Villa mit Meerblick, natürlich ist ohne Meerblick günstiger. Ich Travel zurzeit durch Thailand und mache gerade den tauchschein auf Koh Tao, mit meiner Freundin und wir hatten bis jetzt noch nie so ein gutes Zimmer, Villa, Apartment wie man es nennen möchte. Vorab lasst euch nicht täuschen von den wenigen Bewertungen und der einen schlechte Bewertung.
Overall, a great place to stay in Sairee. We also booked our return ferry through the owner who then offered us a taxi service to the pier. I would strongly recommend staying here if you like a quieter place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the beach area, fab views and warm welcoming staff.
The dog at Balcony Villas barked at us to be begin with but soon accepted us, a friendly little fellow. Some of the rental places in Sairee keep your passport. Helmets were also supplied and we only had to provide a copy of our passport. We hired scooters from the owner which were very reasonable and made getting around much easier. I consider this to be an advantage, I don't always like having staff in my room each day and it's a waste of resources. We were asked each day if our room needed cleaning. We did not receive a daily maid service which to begin with I thought a bit strange, however, we didnt need it. This was ok for us as we enjoy the challenge and the view of the ocean from my bed every morning was very much worth the climb. We had asked for a sea view which meant we were high up! 100 steps to be exact. There was no hairdryer but I mentioned this to the owner, the very next day one arrived. Our room was very clean and well decorated, a huge comfortable bed, tv, fridge, armchair, en suite bathroom, air con, kettle and balcony furniture. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, our cases carried up to our room. We stayed at Balcony Villas for 13 nights whilst on Koh Tao.
